Sunrise is my favorite time to photograph and paint cities. Before the crowds arrive, Charles Bridge feels timeless. The soft morning light illuminates Prague's historic skyline while the city slowly awakens along the Vltava River. This watercolor batik painting was created to capture that quiet moment before one of Europe's most beautiful cities begins its day.
