Colombia is a country of extraordinary contrasts. From the historic streets and cathedral skyline of Cartagena to vibrant Medellín, colorful Guatapé and El Peñón, the mountain town of Jardín, and the wildlife and tropical rainforest of the Colombian Amazon, every painting in this collection is inspired by my own travels and photography throughout Colombia.
These watercolor paintings began with photographs taken while exploring Colombia, often during the early morning and evening when the light transforms its cities and landscapes. The collection captures not only recognizable Colombian destinations, but also the color, architecture, atmosphere, wildlife, and everyday scenes that made traveling through the country so memorable.
